A Seeking Heart

A Seeking Heart EncouragedA Seeking Heart

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33
This is just one of the amazing verses that encouraged me frequently back in 1985 when I was born again! It has been a consistent reminder over those 30 years to maintain a seeking heart, to stay on track, to stay in the race, to keep my eyes on Jesus, and now to focus on the One whom He called “My Father”.

A Seeking Heart Model

Jesus modeled a seeking heart for us, so that our hearts will be spiritually healthy and seeking His Father and Our Father. Don’t interpret these verses to be a chronological order of things to do to become spiritually mature. Rather, this speaks of prioritizing our spiritual journey. First and foremost in our daily walk, Seek First the Kingdom of God!
